Construction Update April 2023

We’re pleased to advise that construction is all but complete on Stage 1!

We’ve been extremely busy onsite over the past few months finalising the construction of service infrastructure such as sewer, water, electricity and NBN. Additionally, the wet weather caused a few hiccups with the footpaths and asphalt road sealing however they’re both now all complete and ready for Council approval.

Landscaping is also complete, with the fencing to Yass Valley Way looking sensational. We anticipate the physical completion of all construction, including any cleaning and defect correction by the end of this month. Following the completion we will lodge our subdivision certificate approval with Council.

Unfortunately, there is currently an Industrial Dispute between the Electrical Trades Union (ETU) and Essential Energy which is preventing the connection of power to Stage 1. This dispute has been ongoing since August and is delaying our approvals. We are working with our electrical contractor to do what we can, however this situation is completely out of our control.

We hope Essential Energy connection will be forthcoming and if so, anticipate registration and settlements to occur in early 2025.

As always, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the team on info@hamiltonriseyass.com.au

Have a great day!
